About Me

My name is Matilda Whitby, I have been video editing for 5 years, currently looking for freelance or remote video editing work

I have just completed a 3-year course studying BA(Hons) Post-Production and VFX at Salford University.

I have been studying video editing for 5 years, and have experimented with many different forms of video production, such as music videos, advertisements, long-form and short-form, and trailers. I have also created projects in multiple different genres, like horror, comedy, drama, documentary, and more.

I'm a very creative person, who is extremely interested in experimenting with new editing techniques and visual effects, learning new skills in the editing field, and being challenged with different ideas, concepts and projects.

I am a very hard worker. I will always meet any deadline given to me, whilst still making sure my work is at its best quality possible. Any work I am given will always be completed by the set deadline, meeting the requirements whilst offering creative input where beneficial. I am a passionate and dedicated editor, who is always striving to learn new skills and develop my skills to become a better editor.

I am highly interested in getting some part-time or freelance work, so I can gain some experience in the editing and post-production field, and develop my skills to continue to better myself as an editor.
